Celebrating this success, the arcade adds Triotech’s latest movie, CARNIVAL, to its library
Triotech, creator of award-winning media-based attractions, is thrilled to announce that Pinballz arcade in Austin, Texas, has welcomed more than 45,000 players in its XD Dark Ride interactive theater.
Installed in May 2017 at Pinballz Lake Creek’s location, the 8-seat XD Dark Ride has quickly become a popular attraction. A group play and individual scoring system creates a unique competitive dynamic, encouraging repeat visits. In recognition of the attraction’s success, Pinballz added a new film to its library: the latest Triotech in-house movie, “Carnival.”
“Carnival has enjoyed great success since we launched it last November. In only five months, already more than 77,000 players worldwide have experienced this thrilling adventure. It’s a great addition to Pinballz XD Dark Ride library, especially with the Halloween season coming,” commented Eric Beauregard, Vice-president – Global Sales of Triotech. “We’re committed to offering a new movie every year. We’re excited to reveal the new one at IAAPA Expo in Orlando in November!”

Established in 2010, Pinballz is the ultimate gaming and entertainment destination, offering a vast assortment of classic and new arcade gameplay – the largest selection in Texas – including over 200 pinball machines across three locations in and around Austin. The three locations are as diverse as Central Texas with cultures as distinct as the incredible communities that come to play there. Pinballz Lake Creek (Austin) and Pinballz Kingdom (Buda) include restaurants and bars with scratch kitchens and local craft beers, while the Original Pinballz Arcade offers a unique Austin experience with a B.Y.O.B. policy, delicious food truck gamer grub, and an escape room attraction.
Triotech has deployed more than 80 attractions in the United States over the past few years across several segments from FECs to amusement parks as well as stand-alone attractions.
Triotech will be present at IAAPA Expo in Orlando at Booth #1954 from November 19 to 22.
