Triotech CEO Ernest Yale and team members announce Heide Park’s Ghostbusters 5D attraction. Triotech announced three new projects – a flying theater, the first of which will be installed at San Francisco’s Pier 39, a Fear The Walking Dead interactive dark ride, which will be a joint venture on Las Vegas’ Fremont Street Experience, and Heide Park’s Ghostbusters 5D. Thrills keep on coming at Triotech

Published on: April 11, 2016 Thrills keep on coming at Triotech Several Quebec companies export to China. Very few do it with finished, high-tech products. That’s one of the claims to (almost) fame of Montreal-based Triotech. China is currently the biggest export market for Triotech’s theatrical thrill rides, sophisticated interactive experiences that cost anywhere from a couple of hundred thousand dollars (for an arcade-size model) to as much as $10 million for a moving theme-park attraction. Almost all its current sales are outside Canada, however, which is why few people had ever heard of the 17-year-old company until the announcement last month that the Quebec Federation of Labour’s Solidarity Fund and provincial pension-fund manager La Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec were each investing $40 million in the enterprise. Triotech designs, manufactures and markets rides that integrate several technologies to deliver a multi-sensorial experience. To date, Triotech products are installed in more than 50 countries across all continents and over 53 million people have experienced them. In 2015, the company revolutionized its industry by developing the Maestro technology, which relies on hand gestures.
